Danny Vaughn is the lead singer of Tyketto and a figure from the late 1980s American melodic rock scene whose career has quietly become one of the most respected vocal journeys in that genre. He has fronted Tyketto, been a solo artist, recorded with other supergroups, and built a following across Europe that takes him back to mainland venues year after year.

The acoustic format at Steam is something different. Tom's music industry connections mean we can host artists of this calibre in a genuinely intimate setting, with no full backline, no light show, and no distance between the stage and the audience. Eighty people, Danny, a couple of guitars, and a full bar. That is the whole format.

This is the kind of event Steam's new programming direction is built around. Intimate music bookings that would normally require a venue three times the size or the sort of private party you cannot buy a ticket for. Here, you can. It is an experiment in what a wine bar in EC3 can actually be when the person running it has a genuine music industry ear.
